The Panama Canal & The Causeway

Although I was really excited to visit the Canal before hand, we were slightly dissapointed on the day. It cost $15 each to get in the visitor centre from which to see the canal lock at Miraflores.

Much better views could be seen from The Causeway out of town, with the canal entrance from the sea on the left side of the road, & sea/new city of the right.

It also houses, the currently being constructed, Museum of Bio Diversity, designed by Frank Gehery.

    • Hi good to hear from you. Unfortunately we arrived after all the liners/ cargo ships arrive. We didn’t realise they go though between 9-11am. Bit of a disappointment as I was really hoping to see more. Hope ur all well. Love Dawn & Colin
